If we decided to keep one of the hens and let her run with the cockerel and other 2 hens would there be issues with daughter/father fertilization of the eggs? In my mind any kind of activity like this would result in gene issues but as i am new to this i just want to make sure. Don't want to create any issues. Your best bet is to have a look on the Practical Poultry forum. They have a whole section on genetics and a couple o very experienced posters. Good luck with it!
