4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

All 3 of our hens have developed dark patches at the base of their combs, and the pepperpot also has dark patches on her ear lobes. All previously had bright red combs.

 

The dark patches aren't raised or blistered - it looks like the skin pigment is changing rather than anything else. The 2 older girls also appear to be moulting - bald bellies and necks, and Moose has a balding head so is not looking as lovely as usual! I've checked for lice (can't see any). They're due to be wormed so I'll start the Flubenvet tomorrow. All 3 are laying regularly, and they seem in good health.

 

Anyone have any idea about the dark colouring on the combs - should I be concerned?

If they are small dots, it is probably where that have been slightly injured by pecking one another.

Thanks Egluntine. I haven't noticed them pecking each other but I'll watch them more over the next couple of days.
