puddled duck
I have two minature silver appleyards, Hamish and Puddles. We have had them 3 weeks and they are now approx 8 weeks old. The problem seems to be that Hamish (drake) has had runny poos for about 10 days now. When we first had them they were on chick crumbs and thats when it started. I have since put them on grower pellets and he still seems to have them. Puddles is eating and drinking the same and her poos are completly normal. Does anyone know if I should be worried or do anything to help? he doesn't act poorly, they both seem to be settled in their new home. Thanks. miller30
Hi ducks nearly always do splatty poos so it would be hard to tell if one had the runs .If he is acting normal eating and drinking i would not worry about it this is why people find ducks very messy hope this helps leanne. Agree with sloppy poos they are very tarry sometimes...can be greenish or blackish indie
