Lucia
A friend of mine has just hatched some chicks so we are waiting to see what we have got then hopefully two girls will be coming home to me at some point....only thing is where to put them till they are big enough to go into the cube with my three laying girls? No one seems to have an Eglu for hire in Gloucestershire so whats best to use that is safe/fox proof etc?
tom123
Yeyyy! What breeds are they? Be prepared for many more to come Try trade it for a cheap ark? I'm not far from you and there are always houses on there??? Good Luck Tom
Lucia
No idea about breed at the moment - he has a mixture of hybrids, and apparently a breed that lays blue eggs whose name escapes me!!! Seven chicks hatched so far. Are the arks safe ? I suppose I could put it in the rabbit run we have which would give another layer of protection and the girls could go in there too (rabbit run is HUGE!) and potter abotu around them)
tom123
They would be fine, something like this...... would be perfectly fine for some chicks up to adults. Good Luck Tom
