A chickychickychick-ENN!!
The See Film First website has free pairs of tickets to the new Sandra Bullock girly popcorn flick, The Proposal. There are a number of cinemas round the country participating. To download tickets go to: www.seefilmfirst.com and enter code: 355143 I don't know if you need to be previously signed up for it to work, but it might be worth a shot if you like this sort of film. A chickychickychick-ENN!!
There are various websites. They tend to be London-based which is a bit of a pain, but there are some national screenings of stuff. www.seefilmfirst.com is a popular one. They send out free ticket ballots like this every couple of months or so. You just sign up to their website and they send you emails sporadically. The only 'payment' is occasionally giving them feedback on films you've had freebies for. I think the idea of them is that if the film studios think a film isn't going to do brilliantly, if it's only got a small distribution release or has been critically panned, they seed free tickets with agencies like this so 'normal' people see the film for nothing then spread the buzz about it, word of mouth, so they don't lose a packet on the film. You can't buy word of mouth recommendations. Either way, free tickets - can't go wrong! I've seen a couple of good films on freebies. Some tosh, but some gems as well.
