4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

It's day 20 today and there was a really bad smell coming from the nest. I removed broody hen for a few minutes to check it out and one of the eggs is really smelly. It is also darker in colour than the rest! Should I remove it from the nest as I don't want it to explode on the healthy eggs? Also, I could clearly hear one of the chicks cheeping and scratching from inside the egg but not the others. Is this a bad sign? Thanks

Not necessarily, some eggs cheep later than others, no cheeping doesn't always mean that they aren't viable.

 

When did you last candle them?

Tried to candle them today -could see some veins but no movements which I have previously seen.
