Is it a prolapse?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I am Sharona the mother hen to 4 crazy chickens, Ethel, Deidre, Eunice and Doris..... I am wondering if someone could please help with a vent related problem..... Whilst having my dinner the other my little feathered friends where watching us through the window. I noticed when Doris turned around her fluffy feather around her bottom seemed matted and her vent look sore and swollen..... Me and my husband washed her vent but the problem persisted..... I think it may be a prolapse, the problem is I cant separate her as I dont where I could put her.... and I am not ure what to feed her to help rectify the problem....any advice would be greatly received

Thanks

Sharona
