h16
I have 2 warrens and 1 blackrock in eglu and the blackrock has gone broody and keeps clucking and stying in nest although there is nothing there. I was getting on avergae 2 eggs a day and in last 14 days I have had 2 eggs! Can the warrens not lay as the other wont move and is this dangerous for them? I have liked the idea of having babies for a while and am thinking about buying fertilised eggs and putting her in new house and run and let her do her buisness but then worry how long before babies might start cock-a-doodle-doing!! I am happy to keep a couple of baby hens but wouldn't want any cockerals but happy to give them away. What age do babies become vocal if they are cockerals? What is the best thing to do for the broody one and the other 2? Thanks x
