2009 Omlet cube and run for sale

I have been asked to look after 2 hens for 2 weeks. I have a spare Eglue run, but no longer a spare Eglu(in use in WIR)

I have 2 other runs also. The person concerneded is thinking about this coop.

Only for the 2 weeks...

What do we think please.

Seems a bit silly spending out all that money for just two weeks. But if the person concerned is prepared to then why not. Only thing is how are you going to attach the eglu run to it?

 

I was recently in a similar situation when Miss Broody had a sleep over at my house and we used the spare eglu run with a cat box inside. We purchased a sheet of weldmesh (B&Q it I think) and used cable ties to make a back panel to the run...OH even bent the weld mesh to make a skirt. The run was them pegged down and Miss broody used the cat box as a bed and nest box.

Its ok size wise but have you read the feedback? most neg or neutral ones allude to poor quality

 

I suppose in this weather it would be ok though, they just need a roof over the heads I guess

Knew I would get ideas...

I do have a spare end panel as the Piglu came with a diddly run, and Weldmesh from our WIR extensions.!

So really all that is needed is a secure, (fox secure) waterproof bedroom for them!
