Egluntyne
Are you certain that it is not the normal state of affairs for the end of a the day? I'd check again first thing in the morning. It should have gone down considerably, if not completely.

Egluntyne
If it isn't improved in the morning I would confine her and just give her plenty of fresh water.....no food for 24 hours. I'd repeat the swig of olive oil and massage the crop hourly. Hopefully that should get things moving again.

Olly
Well, glad to hear it's not a crop problem. She's probably a bit stressed from the trip to the vet, too! Hope she starts eating soon.

Lizzie
Try her on some soft foods also, such as crumb / pellet / mash mixed with water to make a paste. If she has a problem with her crop, she may be more interested in eating (may not of course !) Hope it gets sorted for you Regards Liz
