Zigana
Just to let you all know that Tuesday flew away 3 days ago on his own accord. It was very sudden. He had not been flying and then my mother saw him fly a tiny bit and later he was off! I am really happy that he was fit enough and confident enough to fly away but very sad that I was unable to say goodbye or get pictures/video of him flying. Hopefully he will visit at some point in the future. Thanks to you all for your amazing help as I muddled through caring for him/her (still have no idea!) Might be back when I am able to get some more ducks but now is not the right time. All the best Anna
beckyfitz
Awww! I confess although I haven't replied before I followed your blog & pictures. You did a super job so should feel very proud but i understand it must be sad to say goodbye Perhaps you'll think of getting some domestic ones now! Guest
oh that is great was wondering what happened to him or her!..Am sure will join some other ducks nearby, you may be surprised if one day he or she comes back..we dont see them all winter but when they return in the spring they seem to know where the food came from! Am sure I see the returnees from the previous ducklings! Glad he got the chance of survivial with you..a happy duck ending! indie
Lewis
Its a shame that he's gone, but it is for the best Hopefully it won't be the last you see of him. Well done for looking after him and giving him a chance .
Mayo
Hi Zigana, Like lots of others, I've been following Tuesday's progress with fascination. Congratulations on being the perfect mother : lots of nurturing when it was needed and letting go at the appropriate time. I've just taken on a week-old something-with-big-feet from a local rescue centre ; so I'll try hard to follow your good example. Best regards.
