Do rabbits usually change colour as mine is going from black to brown

Hi Esta,

 

I haven't had a rabbit change colour completely. However, when a young rabbit starts moulting, the fur can come through differently. My black rabbit has developed small patches of white fur as she got older, and my brown rabbit often looks "patchy"! Maybe someone else may know more, but I wouldn't think it would be a problem unless you had acquired the rabbit believing it to be pure bred, with the intention of breeding.

I have a brown mini lop who was black when we got him, I think it probably was after a moult. He also changed sex mind you (we bought him as a girl!).
