However, when a young rabbit starts moulting, the fur can come through differently. My black rabbit has developed small patches of white fur as she got older, and my brown rabbit often looks "patchy"! Maybe someone else may know more, but I wouldn't think it would be a problem unless you had acquired the rabbit believing it to be pure bred, with the intention of breeding.
