beverley Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 hi, i have just come back from a weeks holiday, and was very nervous about leaving the chickens,as they had taken to making a massive noise about 4 am, only shutting up if i went down to their run. needless to say it was getting quite exhausting. however according to one of the neighbours, they had to check on them every now and again as they were so quiet, they wanted to check they were ok. (i had someone going in to check on them each evening anyway, collect eggs, feed and water etc.) do you think they have been playing me the last six weeks or so. since i've been back they have made a fair amount of noise..... beverley olive ruby Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chelsea Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 You sound exactly like me I worry all the time about the noise my lot make and I even put off going away "cos of the chickens". OH says enough is enough and we cannot let them rule our lives! My lot know exactly how to play me......they bok bok for no reason and have me running in and out the garden like a yoyo. We are supposed to be going camping this weekend and all I am worried about is if the chickens mind being shut in their WIR all the time, I am such a softie and they take advantage of me!!
