4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I am now the very proud mum to 5 lovely new girls!!

 

They are:

Lucy and Victoria - 13 wk old gold laced Opringtons

Lulu, Brenda and Margot - 7 wk old Transylvanian Naked Necks

 

Pleased to say all doing really well. They are in the hen house at the moment..how long should I keep them in there until I let them into the run?

 

Also when my lovely new pink Eglu Cube arrives on the 11th August (kindly put up by the Omlet guys) the girls will be joined by two Araucanas. Not sure which colours yet though!!

i left mine closed in for about 1hour (as advised by the place i got my first ones from) with both sets then open the pop hole door then left them to come out when they felt brave anougth i've had no prblems with them going to bed a night

Sorry I didn't answer you question I agree with sjp - about an hour then open the door and let them find their own way out
