4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I have just ordered a cube with a standard run and was wondering how many hybrid hens I can keep in there in comfort. I can not fit in the run extension due to the shape of the garden but would fence off an area around the cube that they could use when I am at home. I do however work in the afternoons so would not be happy to leave them in there then and they would have to return to the cube run.

I have spoken to omlet and they say 6 birds would be fine but that seems a lot to me, I was thinking of 4 or maybe 3 if they would be happier.

I would not want six in a standard run. Three definitely, four possibly if they can free range quite a lot. I know Omlet say six, and it's still much more space than a battery hen gets, but I think it would be a bit cramped if they are spending a lot of time in there.

I have a standard run and a half length extension. Three are fine but I wouldn't put any more.
