Elderly cat breathing difficulties when purring

Looked in chicken supplier section but none listed for leicestershire ??

 

Thinking of getting 2 POL - similar to Mrs pepperpot (in size) - haven't decided on exact type (probably not too important).

In Whetsone, just south of leicester?! I went here yesterday to buy our first hens and it was great. full of the chickens you want so you have a choice. nice friendly people, nicely stocked shop and loads of advice/help offered to you whenever you need it. if we ever need more chooks we will make the 1hr long journey..... it's great!!!!

We are going JUST to look tomorrow (they open till 9 on a friday).

 

Can't get them yet, as have to improvise some accomodation to introduce them to Boo - hope to get them next week.

And it doesn't matter if it's raining because the hybrids are indoors, we HAD to go on the rainiest day of the year.. of course. don't regret it though

Bought several of mine from Merrydale. They're really helpful and friendly.

Merrydale is great. We bought six pol at the beginning of May All are laying nearly every day.

The ranger and the sweetie lay regular double yolkers, thesnowbell lays a good sized egg but the blue who is the prettiest of the lot only laying a smallish egg. I have emailed Karen at Merrydale to see if this is peculiar to the breed.

Point to note the sign for the Merrydale is small and set back from the road so you may miss it like we did. Hope this helps in your selection
