got chickens home, after bit of mix up, got 2 ginger rangers and 2 amber rockets(silver nics)? as didnt have the pepperpot we ordered.

 

well loved new WIR and enjoying checking it out, just question they did a pooh then dug in and started eating it is this normal or something not right.

Hello Simone, mine dont eat poo, they eat everything else though, I would not worry at this stage, they are probably just very excited

Pleased us humans don't do that when we are very excited!! Can you imagine it at Christmas?

 

 

I did read something the other day about hens raking through their poo looking for undigested grains. Yummy

phew well only certain pooh they ate back

 

fun sitting in wir watching them, trying to tell difference between my 2 and hubbys we have 1 of each and sure with time will remember who is who.
