Staffordmum
... for a Chicken door stop similar to that which Omlet are currently selling ? I have seen others that resemble house bricks, they're just not quite right! Thanks in advance, Pat
Chook n Boo Mum
No sorry I don't, but what I did think was a possibility was expand the pattern for the chickummyjig which was on here around Easter & would make a great doorstop! Here's the link to the site with the pattern http://whipup.net/2009/03/29/easter-tutorial-chickummyjig/ Good luck, & piccies please when you've made your doorstop ! Couperwife
oooh, the chickummyjig would work - and look rather funky too or you could design your own - I would possible sketch the shape of the side of the chicken door stop, and add about a cm or 2 for hemming in., I would then add a panel to make the tail end wider, you know, a sort of elongated triangle to give it bulk, so the top bit is narrow (to nothing) and the bottom bit (that sits on the floor) is about 2 to 3 inches wide (depending on how big you make the chicken) if you dont make a complicated chicken design, it should work ok or just use the chickummyjig good luck cathy x
