Paulajyn
Hi there. Am new to posting on the forum, although have often looked on this site for advice since getting our 3 chickens last year. Am wondering if someone could tell me the best white chicken to get??!! We have a black rock and two ginger nut rangers, but I have been looking to get another two birds for a while now, and am keen to get two white hybrids. Does anyone have any advice on the best breed to get? Many thanks in anticipation Sage "the boss" Dora the docile one Marge "the underdog"!!!! chickenanne
One of mine is whte and she's the best chicken in the world... you can't haver her though! She's a light sussex, and any slight broodiness (honestly, it is only a slight inclination!) is worth it for how lovely she is.
Chickendoodle
We have 2 Ambers and they are the friendliest, funniest chickens. One is pure white and the other is white with mottled tan markings
quickcluck
Some ambers are almost white and are adorable friendly chooks, the other white chooks such as white stars or coral nicks can be a tad flighty I've no experience of light sussex, but have heard all good things
Steph101
I've got two white stars and can highly recommend them. They are gorgeous, cute little things, with big red floppy combs. They lay large, china white eggs, and have never missed a day laying! Here is where we got ours http://www.oakmeadowfarm.co.uk
