Space Chick
Today, I looked out into the run and couldn't see Grace anywhere, I wasn't too concerned as she does like to sit in the cube occasionally. However, after about 1/2 an hour I thought I'd better check to be on the safe side. (Not that I worry or anything ) I went to the cube and she was just walking out from the nesting box, and low and behold there was a warm egg. Now the egg was 57g and looked very similar to a Donna egg ie. battery brown (although slightly different as had a few speckles on it but not Sarah-Jane speckled). Donna has been out in the run the whole time, so unless Grace had been sitting on her egg it doesn't explain why it would have been warm I was under the impression that Grace would lay a cream coloured egg as a Gold Laced Wyandotte, and also her comb has not developed at all (although she is 25 weeks) and there is no crouching with her, so I am bemused as do not think that Grace is "ready" yet, although she has been "squabbling" a bit with Romana who is 27 weeks and I think is close to laying. Any thoughts my omleteer friends
