heartjojo
We have three chickens, all usually get on fine, two are approx 2 year old, one about 8 months old. One of the older ones has suddenly started refusing to go to bed in the eglu with the other two, instead she sleeps perched at the other end of the eglu run. No manner of persuassion can get her to go inside. Occasionally we have just lifted her out and then put her to bed through the egg hatch. It doesn't seem to be a problem however the nights are already starting to get colder and I'm worried that she's going to freeze! Any suggestions?? CluckyBucks
Could it be that the elgu has something inside it that is putting your chicken off going inside?? i would check for red mites, because sometimes chickens can refuse to go inside at night due to red mites. xx x
