Eggquisite
Hello, We're not sure what's happened but yesterday we noticed our cockerel Rhubster seemed under the weather. We went out to give him a few treats & normally he get's so excited he runs & follows us around the garden until we share the treats. Yesterday he wasn't interested & didn't join the others & just looked at the floor After a while he then sat down & we heard this really strange sort of gurgling sound & he also seemed to be opening his beak, gasping & holding it open for a few seconds then shutting it. After a few more minutes he went back inside the cube which is very strange!! we noticed he seemed to be trying to cough or sneeze not really too sure. We left him for a while then went back out to check, he was outside but still making a very strange gurgling sound plus his crop did look quite full. After a while it was getting dark & they all went to bed he was first inside which agin is very strange as he's normally the last. This morning it doesn't appear there is any change! Is it possibly a cold? Is there anything we can try & do to help him hope he's going to be ok.
Egluntyne
Could be gapeworm. I'd take him to the vet as you really need a vet's permission to give the double dose of Flubenvet required to threat this. In any case, it might not be that, he could have a respiratory infection, which will need a vet's opinion.
