How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Today my daughter found an extra egg, on the bars not in the nest box, looking fairly blood streaked and spotted on the shell. It is also quite pasty grey colour. The three hens had laid their nornal unblemished eggs also. It was really hot yesterday but we've had that before. We've been giving them different titbits this week eg runner beans, sweetcorn, melon.

The hens have been laying well for just over a year and we've only had a couple of weird ones.

There was one egg missing earlier this week. The week before that we were away for a week's holiday and our neighbour said he didn't get 3 eggs every day.

We'd be interested in opinions. At the moment all 3 hens seem fine.

I suspect it's just a blip but it might be worth checking her vent over (if you know who it was!) just to check there's no visible damage. There can sometimes be blood streaks on eggs with no damage to the hen but best to be sure .
