As a newbie this sounds quite daunting especially as I am ordering my and tomorrow. Has anyone had chickens which have lived a long and healthy life? Falkor Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 Remember people only post in the chicken clinic when there is something wrong.....there are loads of us with chooks on here and only a small percentage are posting in the clinic. Think of chooks like any other pet....lice on chooks are like fleas on your cats. Worming your chooks is just the same as needing to worm your dog Obviously chooks come with the benefit of eggs! You will love chook keeping and if there is anything you want to know just ask on here and we will be there to assist Also attending a hen party is a good idea too!
