beapea
One of our Orpingtons has spent the whole day in the Eglu nestbox. I've lifted her out but she's sitting about listlessly, her comb is pale and feathers below her vent are very dirty; her eyes are bright, however. I'm giving them poultry spice at the moment and there are signs of moult starting. Any ideas from you other concerned owners, please? Egluntyne
I would worm her with Flubenvet.. The symptoms you describe suggest an infestation. I wouldn't bother with any of the herbal wormers.....in my experience they don't work.
beapea
Thanks, Egluntine. I've been using Verm-X till now but will take your advice. Apricot looks rather better this morning but still not 100%. I'm realising that comb and wattle colour seems to be an early indicator that all is not well ... beapea
