Gelbel
Helo - I have read all about the weekly/monthly routines. I've got the day one down to fine art already. But I can't see what I actually use to clean the coop/nest box out with. Hot water, soap and water? Please advise as I currently have an empty coop and nest box and rubber gloves on but not sure how to proceed so as not to harm my girls at bedtime. Thanks in advance! laurmurf
Hi Gelbel! I use a washing up liquid like Ecover (something environment friendly) in a bucket of hot water and have a lovely purple scrubbing brush to do the eglu and cubes with for a top up clean. For bigger cleans I have a power washer (Omlet effect) which i blast on the eglu and cubes For the biggest cleans I use the power washer, scrubbing brush and Poultry Shield too. Gelbel
Thanks - just wanted to make sure a bit of washing up liquid would not hurt!
