dippy bird
hi all, we have three chickens at the moment - a sussex called Betty, a sweetie called Judy and a ranger called margaret - they are all fantastic ! So friendly, nosey and very cheeky! We really want to get some more girls - I have ordered a bigger coop ready. What is the best way to introduce the new girls? I have read that if you rub your original girls with garlic and rub the new girls with garlic then it should be ok as they will all smell the same? Also,if I was to put them all in the new coop at the same time, would that be ok as it would be new to all of them?
Cooks
I have never heard that method myself and followed these guidelines. Good luck viewtopic.php?f=42&t=25886
