Was all set to make the chocolate beetroot loaf when I realised that my loaf tins don't have the size on them. Does anyone know of a way I can work it out?

Loaf tins are normallly measured as 1lb or 2lb so you could measure it with bulk - something non messy like rice perhaps?

 

1lb loaf tins aren't that big so I would have thought this would require a 2lb one but I don't know the recipe so best to check.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have 3 loaf tins so I presume they are 1, 1.5 and 2? Will have a go next week, have already made 3 cakes this week - not good for the waistline!
