eggregiousness
Bit the bullet and let the girls out into the big wide world today for a couple of hours. They loved it! I was concerned about the cats but the introductions were OK. Both cats tried to sneak up on the chickens, ready to pounce, but the chikkies just turned round and gave them both a look. The cats were very put out and embarrassed by the whole episode . I'm not worried about them now. It's just the neighbours' cats we have to sort out next. The rain started to pelt down and the chikkies ended up looking very bedraggled so I put them back in their run after a couple of hours. They went straight into their house! First outing was a success!
dippy bird
Thats great news re the cats! My chickens are too daft to go in the coop when it's raining!!
