Hi guys,

 

im getting married Jult next year and have yet to find a photographer! starting to panic now

 

Can anyone recommend a good wedding photographer in South Wales that wont cost the earth?

Near Bridgend. Have seen a few photographers on the net but they're either fully booked or way too expensive ! ( trying to sick to a budget !)

sounds a bit daft but you don't know anyone in the Police do you? Our old Force Forensic photographer used to do a sideline as a wedding photographer (and no, he didn't draw white lines around the bride groom or guests before the shots!! ) He was SOOOOO much cheaper AND, instead of showing me 300 prints with "copy" stamped across them he gave me about 150, let me choose which I wanted doubles or multiples of then gave me the lot! So they might be worth a go, failing that what about trying the local 6th form college or somewhere where there are phtography courses, where they can learn their trade AND do you a budget deal?

 

Good luck, weddings can be a licence to print money, but it IS possible t do it cheaply. Or you could nominate two or three guests with DECENT cameras (who will remain sober at least to start with!) and then leave disposable cameras on the tables for everyone to use during the reception thus cutting down the number of official shots you need
