Biker Betty
Does anyone know of a good place to buy chicken feed near Malrow in Bucks? (Cookham to be more precise!) Thanks

Clur
Hi Biker Betty! I use Paws and Claws - they deliver feed/bedding etc to the house. Graham's the contact there and he does deliver to Cookham: http://www.pawsandclawsonline.co.uk/ He's very good and prices seem reasonable; may be worth you giving him a call. All the best, Claire
Biker Betty
Thanks Claire - I did know about these guys and asked them before for a price list and list of what chicken products they do - but I never heard back from him and assumed he wasn't interested in doing it! How much do you pay for feed through them? I would love it to be delivered as I don't drive and always have to call in a favour to get their feed. Clur
I am terrible at remembering, but I think it's 15-18 for a 10kg sack. Actually it might be less than that as I usually get a sack of auboise/hemcore at the same time and usually pay about 26-29 in total. I haven't asked if he does any other chickeny stuff, but he does do horse supplies, so imagine he could get hold of garlic powder etc. If I run out of anything and have forgotten to put an order in on time, I nip to Countrywide stores in Twyford and they do a load of stuff there (although layers pellets work out more expensive). If you ever get stuck, I don't live a million miles away and can always divert to drop stuff off for you. My folks are only in Maidenhead, so I'm over that way a fair bit. Hen Watch
Hi, Just a short hop down the A4 Bath Road is Countrywide Farmers. They sell layers pellets, mixed corn, grit, louse powder, poultry spice.... in fact lots of stuff. http://www.multimap.com/clients/browse.cgi?client=fresca_cwf&width=500&height=300&f_id=33&ovtype=2&origE=-0.77691002853934&origN=51.5719389372534&rt=browse2
tooties
Hi, I'd like to recommend Graham from Paws and Claws. I've used him a few times and if you just ask him for what you are after, he will try and locate it from his suppliers. I don't use him exclusively, but hes supplied me with quite a few things. I think he runs the business on his own, and does his own deliveries, he only delivers in each area once per wk. I will be checking out Countrywide farmers though, thanks for the tip!!
