Does anyone have any advice about keeping them and also does anyone know of anywhere in Lincolnshire/East Yorkshire where i could buy some? At first, you notice how quick they grow and you assume that they are big, but really, its just fluff I would definately reccommend silkies due to their funny characters and their strange noises Mine lay eggs every 1 or 2 days or so, and one of them went broody for a month From what i have seen from my own, they are lovely chickens who you grow to love very quickly and they make a lovely addition to a garden I bought my silkies for £15 from a local farm, not where you live though. i would try google because i cant think of any sellers near your area, or try and find an omleteer who lives near you Good luck xx xx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
