Around lunch time today a piece about bees on radio 4 and the campaign the cooperative is sponsoring to get honesy bees back!

I was going to post this as I'm on there, I'm the one talking about growing up with films like 'the killer bees' and then later on saying I feel more comfortable around the bees

I did wonder if that was you, Poet!

 

It was a very interesting item and I was very pleased to hear them say they plan to do something similar in Birmingham in the future. At my allotment association, we are very interested in having bees (there being at least 3 beekeepers amongst us), and would be happy to volunteer.
