Porkypie
This is the first time I've left my chickens for more than a day or two and I'll be gone for two weeks A neighbour will be doing daily checks and for week two my lovely parents are coming to house/hen-sit I am however very nervous leaving (abandoning ) them. They are used to coming out for a free-range each day, although only 2hours weekdays, and I hope they'll be OK in their run. I know I'm being silly! They are also noisey early morning hens and I am usually there to 'control' this. I do hope they behave Does anyone else feel like this??? CluckyBucks
Oh yes, all the time. Im paranoid that if somebody hears them, they will steal them basically, and i love them so much so i am really protective over them. When i go out, i cant wait to come home so i can see them and cuddle them xx xx

xScrunchee
I'm sure they'll be fine You just enjoy your holiday We don't do holidays because a) I am not really a holiday sort of person and b) We have too many animals to expect someone to come and look after them all
