Lizzie
Morning I have had our three POL chooks for two weeks tomorrow and Alice, the White Sussex isn't 100% to me. She is eating well but drinks alot of water. Last night when she came out into the garden, she drank so much she brought up a clear liquid and I am sure I smelt a fishy smell from her whilst she was being sick She then started to ruffle her feathers up a bit and was chatting loads - just seemed a bit odd. This morning she has runny nostrils (clear liquid) though her breathing sounds fine I am trying to contact the breeder, but should I take her to the vets this afternoon ? Many thanks as always Regards Liz
Egluntyne
Does her crop feel squishy and swollen and does her breath smell when you sniff when she hasn't brought up her stomach contents iyswim? Often they bring up some back wash if they have drunk too much. It isn't that unusual tbh. The fact that she is eating is a good sign.
