OK, heres one for you experienced folks out there:

 

several of our hybrid girls are rather bald and its not just the moult, however we can't identify the culprit... so all girls are having bumper bits put on.

 

Question: we want to allow our 4 newbies to free range for a little at the week-end with the hybrids but want them to be able to sort out pecking orders as usual - will the bumper bits cause problems, or will them simply mean any attacks from teh older ladies will be less vicious?

It will mean that the attacks will still happen, but will be less viscious.
