4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hi there can anybody help me please. Our one hen lily is moulting and our other hen belle has started to peck at her and shes making her sore and bleed slightly. Can anyone advise what the cause is and what we can to please?

You need to disguise the blood if you can as they are attracted to blood and will keep pecking at it . Purple spray (sold in horsey shops) does this (I think it's the same as gentian violet?) If she's actually bleeding you can use cornflour to stop it.

 

If it gets worse you could try anti-peck spray (I've not tried this myself).

 

It may be boredom - have they got things to keep them occupied? Hanging sweetcorn or cabbage or seed bells for example?

 

I think I've read that Sudocrem can be put on sore bits but I may be imagining that . Hopefully someone else with actual experience will come along soon!
