chooksy Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 Hiya, After my last post in Chicken Clinic, my hens got a lot worse. The affected few had Baytril syringed day and night, then a few others went down with it so the vet prescribed Tylan Soluble 0.5g/litre in their drinking water. They finished this treatment on Wednesday and are back on fresh water now. I've heard conflicting reports on egg withdrawal? The tub says "Not for egg laying hens!" (or words to the effect). We've run out of pre-tylan eggs and I'd love an egg for my dinner!! So advice quickly please on whether I'll have to head to the shops or not!! Many thanks!
