4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I have had my 4 chickens for about one month and they were about 18 weeks when I got them. I was getting 2-3 eggs a day and then about 2 weeks ago all egg laying stopped totally overnight. One of them is moulting but otherwise they all look hale and hearty. Any ideas??

mmmmm how sure are you they were 18 wks when you got them? In my limited experience, a pullet coming into lay at this time of year generally continues laying right through and doesn't moult until the following late summer/autumn. There is however, nowt so strange as chickens, so goodness knows!

Are they laying somewhere in the garden?

 

Might be worth worming them and confining them to the run, with only good quality pellets and water for a few days. Might just kick start them.
