shakespearehens
Our broody Pepperpot hatched three chicks 12 weeks ago and we are looking to keep one to add to our flock of two hens. We are currently debating the gender and are pretty sure that we have one boy one and one girl, but we are not sure about the third. If I could put a photo up, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas - I would appreciate info on how to post the pic! Thanks.

Chook n Boo Mum
The Omlet Collective Oracle is very good at identifying the gender of young chooks........especially if the chook mum is being particularly blind to the obvious......I am describing myself here just in case anyone gets upset To get a picture on here you need to post them on a public site such as Flickr or Photobucket & link using the code they create. There is a fairly detailed sticky which describes the procedure........I'll go & have a look & add a link to it..............back in a mo Aaaahhh Redwing beat me to it Sha x
shakespearehens
Thank you all so much for the tips on putting photos up. I have several pictures on a blog I have started about henkeeping at www.thehippychick.net I will put some photos up here when I get more than a moment to figure it out - I have to fit it in between the demands of a crawling baby girl.
