Hi to all, I am a newbie to the forum. I am currently fixated on the gender and breed of three home-hatched chicks. Having noticed lately a glazed expression take over the faces of my none-chicken-keeping friends when I embark on this subject, or indeed on anything hen-related, I've started a blog where I can confine my chicken musings in one place. Lovely! But looks like you might have some autosexing breeds there which will help with the decisions! Did the brown stripey one come from the blue egg? If so, looks like you could have a female cream legbar chick there! Find out from your Mum what breeds the other eggs were from. The white spot on the head of that little black one could be a tell tale sign, but not sure which way!
