peepie
We got our 2 new girls today. The plan so far is that they are spending the night in the eglu with our other 2 girls (our only really fox safe place) and will see how they behave in the morning. I was told to introduce them once they had gone to sleep for the night. I waited till it was dark and lifted the new ones into the eglu. Have been out a few times to see them and they are all sitting in the eglu dozing. One in the nest and the rest on the bars. Hopefully this is a good sign. If they aren't nice to each other tomorrow, then they will have to go in the old rabbit hutch whilst we are out. If we're in we plan to let them be together and sit out with a water pistol. We've bumper bitted our old girls but do you think i should bumper bit the new ones as well? Keeping my fingers crossed.
Ain't Nobody Here
I wouldn't think you'd need to. It will be the old girls who are likely to have a go. Fingers crossed for you .
peepie
Thanks. That was my gut instinct - at least they will be able to try and have a go back if the old ones try and peck them.
