Leicester_H
Dear font of all wisdom, When I got married, my husbands Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) gave (well, he got commission!) me advice on where to invest my savings - various ISA's, Bonds, etc. Although we're married, we have kept financial things mostly seperate (we do joinly own our house which now has no mortgage) Its not a huge amount but its not trivial either. But he seems very uninterested - I think he prefers wealthier clients. I know values go up and down but my criteria is simply to do better over 5/10 years than putting it in a Building Socienty/bank. This hasn't happened. He's made money via commission, I've lost money. So I am switching - can anyone recommend a nearby IFA ? (or anyone to avoid?) Thanks as always, H
