folkwife
Hi All, Margot has been laying for a couple of weeks now. Her eggs have always had a pinkish sheen, unlike Barbara's which are light brown. However, having now collected some very fresh/warm eggs it seems that this is in fact a slightly tacky/sticky whisteish film which dries to a pinkish colour. Both hen and eggs seem fine otherwise! Is this a problem? I suppose I'd be none the wiser if I didn't have Babs' to compare them with! Thanks!
