lauragale
Needless to say I stocked up. I was in Kingsheath, Birmingham. My selection of chicken snacks is now slightly out of control - does anyone else suffer from this? This image doesn't show what I also keep in the fridge for them.... jean280753
Hi All, I have a question or two, had my ex batts 4 months now all feathers regrown except for hollys, holly is a very friendly chicken but bottom of the pile now she wasnt allways, but she seems quite content, the only thing is she is bare on her back, the others are not pulling her feathers out she just hasnt grown any, is there anything I can put on to help?. Also I read about worms and parasites, I know nothing only what I have read, I have bought I think its vermex? you put in water for worms and also spice in thier pellets, they also have pasta grapes etc, and corn feed at night, I have 3/4 eggs per day from 4 chickens, Question do I have to given any other medicines? Question Is it true you can feed a warm food or mash in the winter to keep them warm? Question will they be warm enough in the egloo? hubby says they cant come in the house and I worry that there warm enough. sorry that was more than one question, be gratefuul for any advise best wishes Jean,
dippy bird
I would get some red mite powder for them, you sprinkle it on the girls and also use it when you clean out your eglu. Sounds like you have it in hand to me.
