Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

Hello..

I have noticed that people post things about rubber chippings..

Do they work?

Do they not get smelly?

Do you reuse them?

How cost effective are they?

I just really want to know what you think about them..

Hi,

 

I have rubber chippings (purple). When I first put them down approx. July last year they looked absolutely beautiful. I did post pictures which you may be able to find. I keep the eglu run covered with a plastic sheet which helps alot with the smell but I'm afraid they dont look as pretty as they did I hose down occasionally. I have once collected them up and riddled them over a drain with the hose pipe but this took absolutely ages

 

I will be interested to hear how others have got on with them

Tried and failed

 

Were very difficult to keep clean, needed to be hosed down every couple of days and turned grass into a mud bath
