My own little disabled girl had dislocated hocks that set in the torture cage,

She is unable to walk, but sort of flutters or waddles using her wings as crutches to the next bit of pecking ground.

It is very sad and my heart goes out to her and I still cry at the thought of her stuck in there.

She is cheeky and VERY demanding and shouts for things in a cross insistent yet pathetic way until she gets what she is asking for and has taught me that there is a different ask for water.

I think of the words in the poem about a battery hen " you will be able to find me, I am the one that is calling loudest, well it sounds like it in my head" (not exact recall)

Sje is spoilt beyond her imagination. which is her right, and Freebies and all poor tortured souls :cry::cry::cry:
