Silly Hyacinth question

Recommended Posts

I was given a potted hyacinth last Christmas by one of the boys in my class. After it flowered it was put in the utility room and totally forgotten. i was having a good clear out recently and saw it had sprung back into life with a new shoot. Should I feed it or not?

if you feed it after it's flowered and let the leaves die down naturally you might get it to survive a couple of years but the flowers get smaller year on year. I've got a few in the garedn that are about 4 years+ old but the don't flower that good any more as for indoors you're best replacing them every year then put them in the garden

personally I won't have them indoors can't abide the sent in the house
