Busybird Posted December 11, 2009 Share Posted December 11, 2009 ... 4 egg day So we now know for sure that all the chooks are laying The big girls are slowing down but when they do lay the eggs are big and pale shelled. The little girls lay more frequently and provide us with smaller, darker eggs with very strong shells. I've been doing a lot of baking since ours came into lay and DH and his brother seem to appreciate the cakes! Otherwise, we tend to have scrambled eggs on toast for lunch a couple of times a week and also omlets for supper once a week (that takes 9 eggs between all those meals).
