nick48
Hi I wonder if anyone can help, about 18months ago I laid my run with wood bark, all was well but gradually and increasingly qickly now is resembling a mudbath. I would welcome any suggestions as how best to combat the problem, is the answer another delivery of wood bark, has anyone a better alternative, the area needed to cover is aprox 40square metres. thanks nick
beulah59
Have you changed the bark at all in 18months? I have woodchip down, but I think it will need changing every few months ... our run is 4x4m.
Sarahsausage
Yes, I change my woodbark every 2-3 months as well, that helps prevent it turning to a mudbath and is also hygenic for the hens.
